What you will be doing

This is an exciting time to join Breathe. Having proven the value of our products in both the automotive and consumer electronics spaces, we are scaling our Testing Team. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Laboratory and project manage all activities including scheduling testing and resources and maintain quality and enforce safety systems.

Your day to day

·       Day-to-day management of laboratory operational team, for example assigning work instructions

·       Own operational planning of laboratory activities including scheduling testing resources and equipment

·       Ensure that resources are available on time to meet project requirements

·       Identify and resolve bottlenecks in testing operations to improve responsiveness and throughput

·       Manage laboratory operational budgets

Your background

·       Experience in managing a manufacturing or test environment

·       Experience of managing and developing technicians

·       Proven experience of project management, planning and delivery

·       Experience with capital equipment procurement is a plus, but not essential

·       Experience with batteries and/or battery testing is a plus, but not essential

·       Technical background in engineering or equivalent area

·       Proven experience of working collaboratively with other teams in a kind and conscientious manner
