Hours – 48 hours per week, 6.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday

Location Milton

As a Weighbridge Operator for a client in Milton Landfill Site, you will weigh waste vehicles in and out and assist the site manager by ensuring the weighbridge is operated in accordance with the Environmental Permit and Planning Permission

This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week.

What will you be doing?

- Weighing in and out of vehicles and entering details onto the ‘Gladis’ Weighbridge System
- Monitoring Waste Transfer Notes and EWC code usage
- Assist the Site Manager in ensuring reports are populated and completed
- Ensure users of the site are inducted into the site safety procedures
- Assist with controlling and co-ordinating the efficient operation of the weighbridge
- Maintain a polite helpful manner while taking queries
- Carry out housekeeping duties within weighbridge office, welfare facilities and site offices
- Assist with all aspects of site purchasing
- Facilitate the safe running of the front of house
