General Operatives

We are looking for a General Operative to join our clients team to operate machines in production.
Our client is a growing business, and so we are on the lookout for energetic, creative, innovative team players to join us.
As a general operative you will be responsible for
- Carry out duties in a safe, consistent, and reliable manner
- Ensure processes are carried out to the highest standards, and to the desired output level
- Identify areas for improvement and put forward new ideas
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and practices
- Maintain good housekeeping
- Fulfil any other duties as directed by the management team
Skills:
- Work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently
- Numeracy and literacy
- Ability to work according to instructions
Full time: 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday Double Day shift pattern. Candidates may be required to work outside of these hours, when necessary, especially in busy periods.
Salary: Starting pay rate is £11.74 rising to £13.66 after training.
