SEN Teaching Assistant | Birmingham, B97 | £85 - £100 per day | September 2024
We're searching for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our esteemed partner primary school in Redditch. In this role, you'll have the invaluable chance to positively impact the growth and achievements of students requiring extra support throughout their educational paths. The school is looking for a teaching assistant to join them on a full-time basis from September, working the full academic year, for the right candidate this can become a permanent position.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1-1 support to a student with special educational needs.
- Contribute to creating a positive and nurturing learning environment.
- Collaborate with other professionals to work towards the best outcomes for students.
- Encourage active participation and engagement with learning.
- Support students with their overall wellbeing by delivering targeted interventions to support learning and development.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification/degree.
- Have experience working with children that have SEN.
- Have a passion for helping children to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
