About Us:

We are a national resource dedicated to providing care for vulnerable young people aged 10 to 18. Our facility supports individuals who are referred to us following court proceedings, placed on remand, or sentenced to a period of detention. Additionally, we offer secure accommodation for those in need of safety.

Role Overview:

As a Team Manager, you will lead a multi-disciplinary staff team within our eight-bedded secure children's home. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality of care for young people while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and trauma-informed practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and inspire a team of 21 residential staff, fostering a culture of solution-focused and trauma-informed practice.

Manage the day-to-day operations of the children's home, ensuring effective deployment of staff and resources.

Conduct detailed assessments to identify individual needs and develop appropriate interventions.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with external partner agencies to ensure integrated service delivery.

Coordinate and attend reviews for young people in collaboration with key stakeholders.

About You:

We are seeking a resilient and empathetic leader with the following qualifications and attributes:

Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce (Level 3 NVQ equivalent).

Experience in day/night-based Residential or Youth Justice settings.

Understanding of trauma-informed care and adolescent development.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to adapt to change and drive practice improvements.

Driving license required.
