Join a leading independent building contractor. Our client offers a range of services including Building, Mechanical & Electrical, and Maintenance, providing comprehensive solutions to their clients.

Role: Site Manager

As a Site Manager, you will oversee renovation works at commercial sites, including universities, student accommodation, museums, hospitals, and heritage projects. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the project and expected to carry out all typical duties, including:

  • Managing day-to-day site operations.
  • Implementing work practices such as Job Safety Assessments, Risk Analysis, Safety Audits, Security Protocols, and Critical Safety Audits.
  • Ensuring timely material requisitions to avoid delays and secure the best commercial terms.
  • Collaborating with contractors to address safety inefficiencies and implement additional programs and processes.
  • Attending Design Team Meetings to provide input into the design process and contribute to build-ability discussions, Health and Safety, or process improvement.

Candidate Requirements:

  • SMSTS and First Aid tickets.
  • NVQ 6 Black Managers CSCS card (preferably).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a Site Manager.
  • Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing similarly sized commercial fit-out projects.
