Associate Director of Planning Glasgow / Irvine Hybrid £45,000 - £50,000 Due to the continued growth and success of my Clients Planning and Environmental Services, they are looking to appoint a suitable individual as a Associate Director of Planning in the Irvine office. The Role The position will involve writing and coordinating planning applications and Environmental Impact Assessments for a variety of developments including renewable energy, industrial and agricultural projects. This will involve a combination of site surveys and office work as well as engaging with Local Authorities and Clients to manage projects through the planning process. Working as part of the wider team you would be expected to be an active part of the management and organisation of projects to ensure successful applications. The role will involve extensive teamwork as well as client management and fee proposals. You will be expected to generate and maintain your own portfolio of projects and clients as well as supporting colleagues with their workloads. The Person Excellent communication skills - Customer contact is vital. Every client is as valuable as the next and we strongly believe in keeping each client up to date on the progress of their project on a regular basis. Working closely with colleagues is a significant part of what makes us so successful and clear communication is a major part of that success.
