The departments in Business Operations include: Operations, Customer Services, Procurement, Logistics, Finance and HR. Examples of previous interns hired in this area include Customer Services Intern, Order Fulfilment Intern and Recruitment Intern PLEASE NOTE: These roles are not guaranteed and may be subject to change Get the most out of your placement year As a Business Operations Intern, you'll be: Joining a specific team within the Business Operations Taking on a role within the team, assigned to specific responsibilities and duties Learning about your team and department and how they contribute to Softcat's success Engaging and collaborating with other teams and departments to help maintain high levels of service to our customers Building key skills such as organisation, time management and communication. Collaborating with other Softcat interns on group projects What we're looking for A current undergraduate University student studying in the UK/Ireland in your penultimate year, from any degree discipline A passion for technology and/or entering the technology industry An interest in the Business Operations area and the departments in this area Ability to develop and maintain relationships externally and internally The ability to use your own initiative and work independently or as part of a team Demonstrate an alignment to our Softcat values & culture Work in a way that works for you We recognise that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
