Our Paving & Walling and KPRO businesses are high performance and profitable business unit supporting both our Irish and UK based customers. With best-in-class expertise and experience, underpinned by our technologically advanced facilities, we manufacture and retail a complete range of premium quality paving, walling, render and mortar products.

 

This is a client facing role with a combination of account management and new business generation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with Merchant and Commercial Customers in the Connaught region.

Responsibilities:

       Develop new and existing business by positively promoting the company's full range of paving & walling and KPRO products and services.

       Proactively manage and develop relationships with Merchants, Housebuilders, Commercial & Main Contractors in order to expand the customer base and increase company brand awareness.

       Develop strategic relationships with key customers and decision-makers.

       Manage key customer accounts.

       Establish and maintain on-going customer business relationships in order to provide the highest possible understanding of customer requirements and ensure end product satisfaction.

       Provide accurate and rapid cost calculations and quotations to customers.

       Responsible for negotiating terms of an agreement and closing of sales.

       Responsible for negotiating price variation, delivery and specification with customers.

       Proactively deal with and close out customer complaints in conjunction with other relevant departments.

       Ensure high post-sale satisfaction, facilitating long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers.

       Set account and territory plans on an annual, quarterly and monthly basis.

       Maintain and manage a healthy pipeline through full usage of CRM system

       Provide assistance with budgets, strategy, planning and forecasting, when required.

       Work closely with the Specification function in developing key relationships with Architects, Engineers, Local Authorities and Contractors.

       Assist with marketing activities to promote the awareness of the product range and ensure that all literature meets current legislative requirements.

       Attend production scheduling, sales and marketing meetings, and trade events and conferences as required.

 

Skills Required:

       3rd level qualification is desirable

       5+ years' solid experience in a sales role and in a related industry with specific focus on dealing with Merchants, Housebuilders & Commercial customers.

       Technical sales experience across a range of materials and processes in the building materials/quarry products industry is highly desirable.

       Previous significant customer interfacing experience is essential. Along with a proven ability to create and maintain positive relationships and a commercial focus.
