Job Title: Social Care Worker - full time, part time and relief

As we continue to expand to provide additional services to meet the needs of those we care for, we currently have a number of opportunities within our Orchard Residential Care division, in Virginia County Cavan for full time, part time and relief Social Care Workers. 

 

We are seeking applications from enthusiastic social care workers with a passion for supporting young people who are unable to live with own families and who are referred to our service by Tusla. These positions are ideal for those who enjoy working in a team and want to make a difference in the lives of children and young people who have experienced trauma in their early years. You will be provided with extensive training in our model of care to assist you in your role and will also have access to a multidisciplinary team that provides therapeutic support to the young people.

 

Working on a shift rota, you will engage in daily activities and routines of the service, providing dedicated direct support to the people we care for as well as contributing to their development, health, and wellbeing. 


Ideal Candidate

Requirement

Qualification of minimum level 7 social care degree or alternative to include social work, social science, counselling, child and adolescent psychotherapy, youth and community work or a level 8 psychology

Have a genuine passion for working with children and young people

Full manual Irish drivers licence
