Nursing Home Well Being Coordinator/Hospitality/Activities & Events.


Working Hours: Full Time - 4 Day Week, 8am to 6pm, 38 hours per week including some weekends.

Rate of Pay: £13.00 to £15.00 (according to qualifications and experience)

  • Arbour Walk Nursing Home, Hungerford Road, Brislington, Bristol BS4 5HU.
  • Gracefields Nursing Home, North Street, Downend, Bristol BS16 5SE.
  • Saville Manor Nursing Home, Saville Road, Stoke Bishop, Bristol BS9 1JA.

Job Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual for the position of Wellbeing Coordinator at Cedar Care. In this role, you will lead a team and oversee food and beverage service, coordinate group activities and organise community events within the home and out in the community. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for hospitality, wellbeing and a desire to make a positive impact in a rewarding environment.


About the role

  • Inspires staff to better creative and personalised care with the well-being approach.
  • Facilitates social links between residents, relatives, friends and the local community.
  • Delivers personalized social and leisure schedules for residents according to their interests and preferences.


Criteria for Well Being Coordinator


We are looking for candidates with experience in the following areas:

  • Hospitality/events
  • Customer Service
  • Creative arts
  • Psychology
  • Management or supervisory roles

Skills and Abilities:.

  • To possess creativity, enthusiasm, patience and empathy.
  • The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. ..
  • A qualification or experience in Health science, social science, events or creative arts is preferred, but not essential.
  • To have strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency in using initiative.
  • Some experience of working with the elderly or in a caring environment is preferred, but not essential.
