We are recruiting a National Account Manager to join Keelings Retail on a contract basis (up to 12 months) to cover maternity leave.

Purpose of the Role
To lead the growth & development of the Keelings Retail business within an assigned portfolio of National Accounts achieving volume, net sales and profitability targets in line with company objectives. The long term management of these accounts will allow for sustainable growth and strong customer relationships
To drive the growth & profitability of the Keelings brand in your accounts and support its development across the business as a whole
Responsibilities
This function interacts with the commercial, technical, farms, operations, marketing & finance departments internally so creating solid working relationships is crucial
Weekly and monthly performance reviews by account with growth plan updates and build back plans if necessary
Own the promotional planning cycles for your assigned accounts, providing ideas & insight to deliver sales & market share growth (with support from Insights Category Lead)
Own and manage the customer relationship from regular interaction throughout the week to facilitating key meetings across the month and the year
Create and implement customer account plans with a 3 year outlook with support from other functions
Ensuring full adherence to our customer account plans from all parts of our business
Development and implementation of Joint Business Plans to grow sales (feeds into 3YR plans)
Target to acquire new business opportunities (ie via new categories)
Supporting the growth of the Keelings brands in your assigned accounts
Managing your customer tenders and contract negotiations as they come in, ensuring meetings are diarised with key functions and review points with SLT are scheduled

Preferable:
At least 5 years previous direct selling and negotiation experience, ideally within FMCG & preferably in Fresh Produce
Previous knowledge of Nielsen, Kantar and category data would be an advantage
Qualifications:
A relevant business/marketing third level degree
Possess a full, clean driving license
Solid demonstration of computer skills, Microsoft Office, sales data base etc
