Saint John of God Liffey Services invites applications for the post of Occupational Therapy Assistant. This is a Specified purpose (2 years), full time position based in Celbridge, Co Kildare for service users in the age range of 18+ years.

Occupational Therapy Assistant

Specified purpose (2 years) - 1.0 WTE

Essential Requirements:

        A minimum of QQI Level 5 or higher qualification with OT assistant modules or any other qualification in Occupational Therapy relevant to the role.

        Work experience as an Occupational Therapy assistant or relevant experience in Occupational Therapy

        The successful candidate must be flexible, innovative and have excellent communication, interpersonal and effective skills relevant to the role.

Desirable:

        Experience of working in the field of intellectual disability.

        Experience of working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.

        Working knowledge in postural management, older person care and community living.
