Ref No: 2024/132 Senior Neonatal Dietitian

Permanent, Full Time

The Senior Dietitian will be required to work collaboratively with other dietetic and MDT colleagues at The Rotunda to provide patient-centred care to infants and their parents/carers.

Services are predominantly inpatient-based. Provision of nutrition support (parenteral and enteral feeding), in collaboration with consultants, nursing and pharmacy colleagues is a significant part of this role. The dietitian also supports 1 consultant-led outpatient clinic each week and 1 virtual clinic. The post holder will contribute to developing and maintaining evidence based procedures, patient resources and will support the continuous education of the MDT with regards to neonatal nutrition.

        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent presentation skills with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner, at both individual and group level.

        Ability to apply behaviour change and motivational interview skills.

        Willingness to contribute and participated in audit, evaluation and quality improvement.

        Demonstrates a strong patient-centred ethos and takes pride in the quality of service delivered

   Demonstrate dedication to maintaining CPD in this specialist area with a willingness to develop new skills. Ability to understand and apply relevant clinical guidelines / procedures.
