Domestic Appliance Engineer - Crawfords Appliances Ltd


Crawfords Appliances LTD is a local appliance repair, sales, and rental business founded in 2017, who pride themselves on their exceptional levels of customer service and are proud to be an independent local business. Since it's establishment in 2017, the business has gone from strength to strength, employing further staff and establishing their first store to fill the gap in the local market for purchasing domestic appliances before becoming a Pacifica Local Franchise in 2024.


An exciting opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Domestic Appliance Engineer to join the growing team at Crawfords Appliances Ltd. They are looking for someone who will deliver first class customer service and has a minimum of 2 years' recent experience in the white goods repair sector with up to date working repair knowledge of at least 4 of the following; washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, refrigeration and cookers. ACS qualifications of CCN1 and CKR1 would be advantageous but are not essential. Multi-brand experience would also be an advantage as this role will involve working on multi-brand appliances.


Every day you will use your expertise and product knowledge to diagnose and resolve issues and independently work productively to repair customers appliances in their homes therefore you must be a good communicator with a can-do attitude, enthusiasm for problem solving and the passion to repair your customers appliances first time.


You'll be provided with all the latest tech and tools need to complete your job, from a tablet to specialist electrical testing tools, a full kit of appliance specific tools and a van with fuel card. You must be confident in using a tablet which will have bespoke online systems to update jobs from site and keep all job information up to date.


Important: You will need to hold a full, valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 points

Salary £28,000 - £35,000 per annum basic dependent on skill set and experience
