About the team

We are looking for a Product Owner to join the Customer Reporting and Analytics Product Team, focusing on serving and empowering SMBs through data feeds to our Worldpay Dashboard Portal, whilst also providing crucial data to support internal teams such as accounting, data analytics and revenue assurance.

You will play a pivotal role in driving the development and enhancement of our data feeds platform, working closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize, plan and deliver features that optimize the merchant experience whilst also meeting the needs of internal stakeholders.

What you will be doing

Your responsibilities will include owning the product backlog, collaborating with stakeholders, and being the key point of contact for business requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, analysts, and architects.

• Building a strong understanding of the payment lifecycle and the merchant needs.

• Provide the internal voice of the customer for the engineering team and work with Product Managers, Commercial and Operational leads to communicate their needs.

• Capture business requirements, create user stories and manage delivery throughout the development cycles.

• Support the engineering team throughout planning and team ceremonies.

• Review and reprioritize the backlog as part of the Iteration Planning, including coordination of dependencies with other Product Owners.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.

• The ability to be able to communicate business requirements into technical teams and vice versa.

• Being a team player is critical given the often-remote location of development resources.

• Ability to adapt to and embrace frequent change with a positive attitude.

• A self-starter with a can-do attitude that can operate with minimal direct/daily supervision.

• Understanding of Pricing, Billing, and accounting principles.

• Strong data analysis skills.

• SAFE training and experience.

• Experience using Jira, Rally and/ or Miro.

• Experience collaborating with virtual and global distributed teams.
