We are currently seeking a Operations Controller to join our Operations team at our Minworth site.  As a Operations Controller you will contribute to the success of the site by supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring that all schedules for inbound receipts and outbound loads are run efficiently, liaising with warehouse operatives, Shift Supervisors and Shift Managers to maintain a smooth flow of work throughout the shift.

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off Days (06:00 - 18:00)
Salary: £27,450 Per Annum

As the successful candidate, you will contribute to the overall success of the site, and will report directly to the site Shift Manager.

Job responsibilities of Operations Controller include:

• Efficiently managing the outbound schedule to ensure collection and delivery times are met.
• Issuing instructions to designated staff to maintain a smooth flow of inboundand outbound work.
• Controlling paperwork for outbound vehicles ensuring 100% accuracy.
• Communicating issues to Shift Manager in a timely manner to minimise disruption to the schedule.
• Being the initial point of contact for all drivers arriving on site.
• Participating as an active member of the operations team, and to offer suggestions for solving problems, improving efficiency, customer and quality focus.
• Producing a thorough, detailed handover to the following shift highlighting potential issues, reminders and current state of play.
• Releasing work to the system for the warehouse to pick. Following all warehouse special pick
• Managing Marshal lanes for orders.
• Prioritising work on the system.
