Godolphin is seeking to recruit a dedicated and passionate Stud Hand in Newmarket. Reporting to the Stud Groom, the job holders will be responsible for horse care and stud maintenance.
Key Tasks:
The care and welfare of thoroughbred breeding stock, including:
- Handling of mares/foals/youngstock
- Grooming
- Mucking out
- Assisting the vet/farrier
High standard stud maintenance, including:
- Paddock maintenance
- Machinery operation and maintenance
- Hedge trimming
- Lawn mowing
