Job Description

Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm.

The purpose of the role is to provide IT Infrastructure support to users based at supported sites across the UK and Ireland.

  • Provide desk-side and remote support to users, including resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Adhering to KPIs and SLAs.
  • Set up, configure and install new PCs and associated equipment in accordance with company procedures.
  • Provide local support for desktop, server and network infrastructure equipment.
  • Open to work off site at Eurofins locations within UK and Ireland. A key part of this role will require regular travel to supported sites throughout the UK and Ireland; although the role will have a specified base location.
  • Provide a high level of internal and external customer care.
  • To partake in any developmental training as required in compliance with the Company Standard.
  • Responsible for promoting a professional image of the Company and for complying with the Company's Equal Opportunities and Harassment Policies at all times, including work related events which take place outside normal working hours.
  • Comply with all relevant Health, Safety and Security Regulations.
  • Read and comply with Company rules, procedures, agreements and any notices displayed by the Company throughout your location.
  • Participate in covering on-site and off-site support, which may be as part of a shift rotation.
  • Occasional weekend and evening work as required by the business needs and management requests.
  • You may be required to participate in an on-call/standby support outside office hours.
  • Prepare technical proposals for improvement  together with line manager.

Creation and maintenance of working documentation, for example, SOPs and FAQs.
