Job Description

As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will play a key role in leading and motivating a team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring timely and accurate order picking, packing, and dispatch processes, while also maintaining a safe and productive working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of warehouse operatives, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure operational targets are met.
  • Performance Management: Monitor team performance, set objectives, and conduct regular reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Warehouse Operations: Oversee all aspects of the warehouse operation, including inbound, outbound, and stock control, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfilment.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to and that the warehouse is maintained as a safe working environment at all times.
  • Stock Management: Maintain accurate stock levels through regular cycle counting, inventory checks, and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity in the warehouse.
  • Reporting: Produce daily/weekly reports on operational KPIs and performance metrics.
