What will you be doing?

We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Valuations and Modelling team in London or Birmingham. The individual will be responsible for preparing a wide range of valuations for accounting, tax, and commercial purposes (for non-contentious or contentious circumstances). In addition to business and share valuations, we also prepare valuations of intangible assets (often post-acquisition or for tax purposes) and complex securities (e.g. employee benefit share options and management share plans, warrants, etc.).

As a Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Taking responsibility of the various valuation assignments and preparing autonomously the analysis, execution and reporting involved.
• Proactively managing teams and understanding clients’ expectations.
• Assisting partners and directors with business development (i.e., proposals for new business).
• Establishing the scope of work of projects, preparing associated budgets and communicating these to relevant parties.
• Supervising the performance and workload of the team (i.e., direct report).
• Internal and external networking to identify new opportunities.
