Responsibilities:
- Maintain, service and repair fire and security alarm systems in commercial and residential settings.
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of alarm systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with alarm systems and provide timely and effective solutions.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each job, including service reports and customer feedback.
- Respond promptly to emergency callouts and participate in the on-call rotation schedule.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and relevant regulations.
The successful candidate will require:
- Proven experience as a Fire and Security Alarm Engineer.
- Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Electronic Security and Emergency Systems, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, security systems, and related technologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driving license.
Benefits:
- Basic salary between 36,000 - 38,000 per annum
- Paid travel time after the first 30 minutes travel
