This is a brilliant opportunity to join our award-winning independent creative agency at the heart of Shoreditch. Working in close conjunction with Designers and Client Services from initial briefing stage, through to finalising artwork for print and digital media production, the Senior Creative Artworker is responsible for delivering various elements of the project on time and specification.

You'll need to be able to work in a high-pressure environment. From concept through to final delivery you will be creating the highest quality designed materials for integrated campaigns, social media, digital platforms, press advertising and outdoor media. You will preferably have advertising, marketing and digital experience with strong print and artworking skills, and be able to manage various projects at one time. Having a strong understanding and versatile approach to layout is key.

The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite and have extensive industry experience, with at least 2 years in a Senior position. You must be able to provide examples of integrated campaigns, social media, brochure layouts, press and digital display advertising.


Responsibilities include

− Being acknowledged in the business as an expert Creative Artworker, who is technically strong, up to date with the latest technology and an experienced go-to person in relation to a set of clients and projects.

− Providing accurate technical advice and solutions (based on practical experience) to project managers and colleagues within the team. Doesn’t need to rely on the Creative Services Manager for input

− Taking ownership of a project, delivering the requirements on time and budget and conforming to brand guidelines and print specifications to deliver work on brand and expected standards.

− Extending and applying the creative essence of an idea whilst adhering to brand and technical requirements.

− Pitching in and helping out colleagues who may have a heavy workload or are up against tight deadlines.

− Helping the Creative Services Manager induct new permanent and freelance colleagues. Working alongside them to ensure they work in a consistent, supportive manner on projects and there are clear lines of communication between all necessary parties.

− Mentoring, advising and training more junior members of the team.

− Keeping up to date with software developments, industry trends, client developments and quality assurance standards and sharing these effectively with the team.


Requirements

- Proven experience delivering integrated print, digital and social campaigns across multiple languages.

- A proven track record of developing and creating brand and visual identity guidelines.

− An expert at the technical elements of creative artworking, with a high level of knowledge and experience of print and digital processes.

− Demonstrates a deep understanding of composition, colour, typography and image selection. − Considered to have an excellent ‘creative eye’ and pushes for great design. Drives for accuracy and quality in everything they do. Gets things right the first time.

− Expert level of competency in all production software and systems including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat). Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word and PowerPoint. Good working knowledge of web packages including Flash and Dreamweaver.

− Takes full ownership and accountability of a client’s work and raises potential issues before they become problems.

− Delivers within deadlines (with no intervention from colleagues or manager). Adaptable and flexible. Will pull out all the stops to ensure great work is delivered.

− Is competent working on simultaneous projects for a variety of clients.

− Always manages workload and priorities well. Resilient and can deliver well, even under pressure.
