What we need

We are a small but growing team and you will need to be able to focus on delivery to make a big impact with us. 

Things you’ll be responsible for:

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
• Design client-side and server-side architecture
• Maintain an evolve document based database with over 1 million records
• Write effective APIs
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Create security and data protection settings
• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
• Write technical documentation
• Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software

• Frameworks: Spring MVC, React
• Languages: ES6 - Javascript, Java, HTML, Less
• Databases: MongoDb
• Devops: AWS

Your Skills and Abilities

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role with at least 10 years of experience
• Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
• An excellent knowledge and commercial experience developing in Java
• Advanced knowledge using client side JavaScript, CSS, and HTML 
• Experience in code testing methodologies. 
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. React)
• Knowledge of multiple languages (e.g. Java) and JavaScript frameworks 
• Familiarity with Databases especially document and key-value databases (e.g. MongoDB and Redis)
• Familiarity with UI/UX design
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field
• Experience in the print industry

Nice to have but not required

• Experience working at a start-up
• Experience working with Global Teams 
• Experience with sites in various countries and with different country regulations
• Experience working with the printing industry 
• PDF generation and manipulation (e.g. Callas pdfToolBox)
• Terraform
• Apache Spark
• Image processing (e.g. ImageMagick and THREE)
