We have an opportunity for a Senior Design Engineer with a controls background to join our team. As the successful applicant you will lead management of project designs and design engineers. Have an excellent understanding of system design and the ability to be able to communicate with clients to interpret the requirements of the end users. Good managerial skills and excellent client liaison. Experience in instrumentation system designs, electrical installations, and control panel design and installation from concept to completion. An understanding of technical drawings and schematics. The ability to produce documentation for client submittal including but not limited to SAT, FAT, IQOQ, and FDS.

The ability to be able to budget control, labour manage and material acquisition.

Good understanding of Health and Safety rules and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implementation and planning of Projects.

• Project specific documentation and reporting.

• Suppling client quotations and client development liaison.

• Keeping up to date with latest industrial control solutions.

• Be aware of contractual requirements of all Projects, payment milestones and associated requirements, key dates, technical and H&S requirements.

• Attend factory and site acceptance tests on projects when required.

• Prepare and present project financial reports.
