Location: Gloucester

Salary: £28,000-£33,000

Hours: Full Time – Monday to Friday – 9.00-5.00

Our Client:

Our client is a long-established business and personal insurance brokers, they have been going for over 50 years looking after the insurances of businesses and individuals throughout the UK from their modern, spacious open-plan offices in Gloucestershire.

The Role:

Following an excellent year, our client has an exciting opportunity for someone with commercial insurance broking experience to be part of their ambitious growth plans, assisting three Account Executives with the day-to-day servicing of their client books.

The ideal candidate will be working in insurance, be an Acturis user and hold their Cert CII qualification or working towards, with a desire to further their professional studies and really develop their career. The classes of business that you will deal with include property, liabilities, fleet, motor trade, professional indemnity, management liability and cyber.

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiating terms.
  • Mid-term adjustments.
  • Preparing and inviting renewals.
  • New business enquiries.
  • Account administration.
  • Handling claims.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Previous commercial insurance broking experience is essential.
  • Experience using Acturis is desirable.
  • Cert CII qualification is desirable.
  • UK Driving License and access to own vehicle is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Minimum GCSE C grade (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Demonstrate problem solving ability, good attention to detail and willingness to use own initiative and judgement.
