About the role

The Head of Enterprise Applications will lead and manage our suite of commercial and operational applications.  This role reports directly to the Director of Technology (Enterprise Tech) and is part of the Enterprise Technology Leadership Team.  The role is responsible for overseeing a range of business-critical systems, under Sales, Marketing, Finance and HR. The Head of Enterprise Applications will guide a team of Product Managers and collaborate closely with various stakeholders across the organisation to align system solutions with Euromonitor’s strategic objectives.  There is a requirement for this role to be onsite 2-3 days per week.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing leadership for Enterprise Applications, aligning technology initiatives with business strategic goals
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage applications to improve business outcomes and user experiences
  • Responsible for optimising the performance and security of the Enterprise applications, thereby enhancing business processes, and safeguarding critical data
  • Oversee the delivery of key projects and enhancements for Sales, Marketing, Finance and HR systems to drive efficiency and business value, aligned to Euromonitor’s goals.  Act as an escalation point for system or support issues
  • Management, support, and optimisation of Sales applications (Salesforce, Zuora, Xactly, DocuSign, LinkedIn SalesNav .and more…) to support our Sales teams to drive revenue growth
  • Management & support of Marketing systems (Marketo, RingLead, Zoom Sessions) to support marketing and lead generation efforts
  • Oversee the rollout and ongoing management and enhancement of our Finance systems (D365 F&O, AvaTax) across regional offices
  • Management & support of our HR Systems (SuccessFactors, LMS, payroll, travel booking system)
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending innovative solutions to keep Euromonitor on top of developments in all our systems
  • Ensure robust data governance, security, and compliance across all enterprise applications.  Address key risks & issues related to all systems in the Enterprise Apps space
  • Manage the Enterprise Applications budget for Sales, Marketing, HR & Finance systems.  Look for opportunities to drive cost savings and optimise spend where possible
  • Work with a wide variety of stakeholders, including senior leadership, department heads and end-users to understand their needs and support their priorities, challenging where appropriate
  • Facilitate regular SteerCo meetings with stakeholders to report on progress, discuss priorities, gather feedback, and adjust plans, as necessary
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Enterprise Applications to contribute to the broader vision, strategy, and roadmaps for Enterprise Technology
  • Oversight of all projects that impact systems and operational effectiveness in the defined business area and ensure that they deliver agreed benefits and meet time, budget, and quality standards
  • Be accountable for all business system software releases in terms of how the solution has been implemented, technical documentation and the on-going ability to support the solution
  • Form strategic partnerships and productive working relationships with our Technology Partners, ensuring we are building solid relationships, working with the Account Managers and CSMS to drive the best value from our engagements with them
  • Work with ScrumBan processes to deliver project and BAU, ensuring the embedding of prioritisation and estimation processes. Provide relevant metrics to demonstrate the performance and productivity of the Enterprise Apps teams
  • Lead, manage and mentor Product Managers responsible for Sales, Marketing, Finance & HR systems.  Oversee their professional development and performance management. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement
  • Effective resource management, ensuring sufficient staff, with the right skills and the right tools are available ensuring no single point of failure on any systems

Requirements

Who you'll be:

  • Being able to identify where manual input can be reduced by integration & which are a priority

What you'll bring:

  • Significant senior level commercial experience with a proven track record of successful delivery
  • Experience delivering in a fully SaaS based environment
  • Project management experience in sizeable, cross-functional projects requiring a significant change management effort
  • Demonstrable experience of creating product strategies and roadmaps and product management, ideally through Scrum methodologies
  • Experience managing and developing positive relationships with 3rd party suppliers, in contract negotiation, priority setting, resource augmentation from capacity/capability perspective and dispute resolution
  • Experience delivering solutions across Sales, Marketing, Finance and HR with a strong understanding of business processes and challenges in each area
  • A strong understanding of delivering and integrating solutions. This could be across CRM, Marketing Automation, ERP or HRIS solutions
  • Proficient in CRM, ERPs & Marketing platforms

If you have these, that would be great but not essential:

  • Experience gained in a publishing/product background, or a development background
  • ScrumBan experience
  • Proficient in any of these specific tools and technologies: Salesforce CRM, Marketo, Microsoft Dynamics D365, SuccessFactors HRIS
