Details of Location and Shift pattern:

Hours – 40 hours per week working Sunday to Thursday. The working hours are 6am to 2.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4.30pm or 10am to 6.30pm Sunday

Location – Company Shop Limited, Tankersley Distribution Centre, Wentworth Way, Wentworth Industrial Estate, Tankersley, Barnsley, South Yorkshire S75 3DH

Rate of pay – £13.40 per hour, paid on a four weekly basis

Accountabilities:

We are looking for hard working individuals that are enthusiastic and enjoy a challenge to join our warehouse team at our Distribution Centre in Tankersley, South Yorkshire.

As an FLT driver you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of stock in the warehouse. You will assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries while always ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all relevant MHE.

Accountabilities and responsibilities:

• Operate any MHE you have been trained and licensed to
• Attend regular refreshers to keep your licenses up to date
• Adhere to all environmental, food safety and quality/ hygiene procedures when undertaking duties
• To ensure all stock is taken care of in a safe and proper manner
• Ensure that all pre-checks are completed
• Report any faults or issues with the vehicle in a timely manner
• Unload/load deliveries safely, and move the product to goods in bulk or packing areas
• Efficiently stack and store products in the appropriate area
• Check all products for dispatch are accurate and free from damage
• Efficiently move products/orders to the correct areas
• Ensure all picking areas are replenished throughout the day
• Maintain equipment and materials that are used, and keep your area clean, and tidy
• To ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed in a timely and efficient manner using the correct document/system
• Loading The Card and Plastic recycling trailer
• Loading the food waste bulker
• Loading empty pallets for returning to depots
• Loading Wood and Metal recycling skips
• Yard maintenance
• Assist with other warehouse duties as required

Requirements

Skills and Experience:

• Hold a valid AITT, RTITB or NPORS D2 Reach Truck Driver License (essential)

• Counterbalance License (desirable)
• To undertake and keep up to date with all mandatory training required for your role e.g. Manual Handling, Food Safety
• Experience of working in a busy warehouse environment
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Good Communication Skills
• Reliable and Good Time Keeping Skills
