This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of one of our offices near Leamington or Bicester where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

The Opportunity:

As a Senior Project Engineer in Closures, you will play a critical role in our engineering endeavours. You will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of closure systems for our innovative vehicle models.

What you’ll do:

• Responsible for Design for manufacture and assembly for responsible components, owning the closure systems and attribute delivery.
• Report to Principal Project Engineers responsible for the relevant commodities, preparing full project documents.
• Develops new techniques and/or improved processes, materials or products.
• Engineering responsibility (including design and release) of full vehicle body systems: Closures, Panels, Glazing, Sealing.
• Ensuring responsible designs meet legal compliance.
  

Who you are:

• Strong and proven relevant experience required in closures of body mechanism.
• Significant closure system knowledge and experience.
• Automotive experience essential.
• A ‘can do’ attitude and are always focused on achieving great results.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders & drive towards a common goal.
