JOB SUMMARY

As a Logistics and Shipping Coordinator at Dangote Global Services Ltd, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of logistics and shipping operations in our London office. You will work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and shipping agents to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of goods.

Your role will involve managing inventory, coordinating shipments, tracking orders, and communicating with stakeholders to resolve any issues or delays. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations and international shipping requirements.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and manage all logistics and shipping operations in the London office
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast inventory needs and plan shipments accordingly
  • Communicate with vendors and shipping agents to arrange transportation and delivery of goods
  • Track and monitor incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery
  • Resolve any issues or delays in coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Prepare shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and customs forms
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international shipping requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and related documentation
  • Review and optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Provide regular reports on logistics and shipping activities to management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in logistics or shipping coordination
  • Experience working with international shipments and knowledge of customs regulations
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software
  • Familiarity with shipping and freight forwarding processes
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
