Requirements

Outline of Key Responsibilities...

  • Carry out surveys, defects inspections relating to property disrepair or compliance with legislation and preparing specification of works, overseeing any subsequent works.
  • Work collaboratively with several internal departments including housing, repairs & maintenance and customer resolution ensuring that we meet internal SLAs for complaint handling and responding to enquiries.
  • Ensure reporting is available to monitor issues and identify any trends and root causes so updates and meaningful results driven’ reporting can be shared.
  • Specify improvement and repair works, instruct and liaise with the consultants appointed to act on behalf of settle.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with tenants whilst actively promoting the organisation.
  • Carry out stock condition surveys where needed to aid the completion of targets.
  • Have technical input into our Aids and Adaptations service, providing the A&A team with technical resource for feasibility surveys and post inspections.
  • Report to and work closely with the Asset Manager to ensure settle’s assets are managed efficiently.
  • Work with our Customer Resolution Team investigate, manage, and resolve customer complaints, related to the Asset Management provision, in a timely manner.
  • Project manage packages of work from inception through to final delivery.  Demonstrating excellent contractor and project management skills.  Holding contractors to account and delivering within budgets and timescales, whilst keeping all stakeholders fully informed and engaged.
  • Liaising with insurers and providing access and information for them as and when required.
  • Help to build specifications and develop programmes for specialist works that affect multiple properties or property types.

We are looking for someone who has...

  • Previous relevant experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage own workload and prioritise appropriately whilst ensuring internal and external SLAs are met.
  • Have strong customer focus, and the ability to communicate, influence and chair meetings with a variety of stakeholders
  • Good knowledge/experience of building maintenance.
  • Excellent contractor and project management skills and experience.
