Our client, based in central London are on the lookout for an ACA or ACCA certified professional, preferably with a track record of first-time exam passes. The ideal candidate will have honed their skills in a practice setting over a minimum of three years.

Role Responsibilities:

Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Statutory Accounts: Preparation and critical review of statutory accounts complying with UK GAAP/FRS102 standards.
  • Audit Planning & Execution: Reporting directly to the audit manager or Partner, you will take charge of planning and executing audits for a diverse range of clients, adhering to International Auditing Standards.
  • Budget Management: Conducting audits within the allocated budget and ensuring their timely completion.
  • Client Management: Managing and meeting client expectations effectively.
  • Team Supervision: Overseeing the work of audit trainees, guiding their professional development, and handling performance evaluations.
  • Tax Computations: Drafting corporate tax computations.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

The successful candidate will need to showcase:

  • Diverse Audit Experience: Demonstrated ability to conduct audits for a variety of clients.
  • Versatile Accounting Skills: Proven experience in handling accounts for a broad client base.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills in relevant areas.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Proven ability to lead and supervise audit teams both onsite and remotely.
  • Workload Management: Effective prioritization of tasks and workloads.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Organizational Skills: Outstanding organizational capabilities.

Desirable Skills:

  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with software packages such as PROaudit (Audit Automation), AP, Alphatax, Excel, Word, and Outlook is advantageous, though training will be provided.
  • Additional Tools Experience: Experience with Inflo and Data Snipper would be beneficial.
