Are you ready to rethink your routine? We’re looking for a Logistics and Warehouse Contract Manager to join our Operations team. Reporting to our Head of Supply Planning, our Logistics and Warehouse Manager will manage and monitor the storage and distribution of goods, with the aim of optimising and enhancing our Warehouse and Logistics to ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.

The Role 

Your daily to-dos might look like this:

  • Manage and oversee our warehouse and transport function, including warehousing, storage and compliance. Owning the reporting of 3PL warehouse and logistics KPIs in order to drive efficiencies, service improvements and cost reduction.
  • Working with our Head of Supply Planning for warehousing and Logistic P&Ls.
  • Managing our day to day 3PL relationship, being the first point of contact, to ensure we’re delivering excellent service to our customers. 
    • Set up and manage third-party warehousing contracts ensuring cost, quality, and service standards.
  • Ensure optimal internal and external warehouse capacity and utilisation to meet seasonal demands.
  • Review KPIs, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to recurring issues.
  • Ensure compliance with export regulations.
  • Be the key contact for all 3PL and internal Trinny London functions.  Ensure 3PLs receive regular forecasts and key operations activities updates.
  • Own the Global and Local Logistics/transportation needs, both for warehouse to customer and component/finished goods vendors to warehouse.
    • Manage logistic partner relationships
    • Tender logistic service providers to ensure best in class service at optimal costs 
    • Manage the Logistics Coordinator, ensuring all critical timelines are met and the business has all current and relevant information..
    • Ensure Trinny London is up to date and compliant with all international trade requirements.
    • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
  • Use stakeholder management skills to work cross-functionally within the supply chain and wider business, ensuring our network is suitable for Trinny London’s long-term business objectives
  • Work with our Head of Supply Planning to review our current supply chain network  and ensure it is fit for purpose and meets Trinny London’s current /future needs, suggesting optimisations where identified:
    • Lead, and manage our logistics and 3PL partners; conducting negotiations, 
    • building strong relationships with new and existing suppliers, 
    • modelling and managing supply chain network changes, from concept to delivery
  • Work closely with our Product Innovation team to support form a Logistics perspective on new product development, packaging innovation or rebrands and inputting any E2E supply queries
  • Support our Head of Supply Planning to improve our fulfilment process, putting in place corrective actions and keeping an eye on evolving processes and technologies to ensure we remain best-in-class

Requirements

These skills will help you go far in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, logistics, business administration, transportation, or engineering is desirable
  • Demonstrable experience working in  warehouse, logistics, or transportation
  • Previous experience managing and developing direct reports
  • Strong team player with the ability to coach, and provide training for junior team members
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent knowledge of excel with analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
  • Desire to consistently improve on process and improved efficiencies
