As a Senior Vehicle Production Artist, you will play a pivotal role in driving the quality of the content our Outsource Partners create. You will be highly experienced in vehicle content pipelines, with particular strengths in efficient modeling, materials, and texturing processes.

You’ll be supported by the leadership of the vehicle art discipline and will collaborate with wider departments to execute on the artistic vision.

Key Duties Include:

  • Reviewing the work of our Partners in line with our Quality Bar
  • Engaging with opportunities to increase team productivity
  • Ensuring production of vehicle assets conform to the defined technical and artistic requirements
  • Providing support to facilitate the quality and consistency of internal and external teams
  • Self-managing personal deliverables, ensuring they meet the defined objectives, quality bar, and schedule
  • Supporting and inspiring our junior vehicle artists
  • Leading and mentoring a team of vehicle production artists, providing guidance and feedback to enhance their skills and performance
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the vehicle production pipeline and best practices

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in the creation of high-quality, high-resolution 3D Vehicles
  • Strong experience in the creation of 'Physically Based Rendering' assets
  • Proficient with texture authoring tools such as Photoshop and Substance
  • Excellent understanding of the mechanical composition of vehicles
  • Well-practiced in precision modeling techniques
  • Extensive experience with 3D modeling tools such as 3ds Max, Maya, or equivalent
  • In-depth understanding of automotive design principles such as ergonomics
  • Organized and disciplined
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills
  • A collaborative approach
  • Professional demeanor
  • High standard of verbal and written communication skills

Desirable:

  • Experience with Office 365
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and Substance Suite
  • Familiarity with Autodesk: Maya 2023, 3ds Max
  • Experience with game engines: Bespoke, Common
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools: Jira, Confluence
  • Experience with CAD Data Processing
