Do you want to be a Regional Director of Business Development who will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth across Europe and the UK. 

We’re looking for a Regional Director of Business Development who will have a proven track record of building business in the area of digital marketing services. Experience should include: development of new business outbound pipeline, identification of key accounts and decision makers within those accounts, tracking and reporting on progress against plan, engaging with senior directors, and creating a culture of success within We Are Social and its European sister agencies.

In this role, your primary responsibility is to build a pipeline by originating opportunities, qualifying them and submitting them to the Global Head of Growth for a bid approval. In addition the Regional Director of Business Development is responsible for securing revenue from new accounts consistent with the annual business plan for We Are Social and its European sister agencies. This individual will highly prioritise outbound pursuits and worked closely with the Marketing team and our Campaign Manager (ABM)

Initially, the role will focus on our European and UK offices.

Requirements

What You’ll Do

  • Through outbound techniques create a sustained pipeline for the region 
  • Target clients that will be foundation accounts ($2M+)
  • Craft sales strategies for top accounts
  • Report on progress against plan 
  • Add to the existing library of selling assets and best practices
  • Successfully learn and sell-in the full suite of agency offerings
  • Cultivate business relationships through networking, industry events and a outbound marketing

What Are We Looking For?

  • Experience of our MarTech stack (Salesforce, Pardot, 6Sense), or equivalent
  • A demonstrable record of creating new business opportunities through outbound through a range of outbound techniques
  • A successful track record in business development within a digital or traditional agency environment
  • Strong business and marketing strategy skills
  • Superb writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively
  • Experience in outbound pursuits and a consultative approach to client engagement.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain C-level executive relationships
  • Familiarity with digital marketing technology and trends
