Job Summary:

Responsible for the development and management of the company’s network and data-centre infrastructure across all SEE sites (currently London, Docklands, Paris, Hamburg, Los Angeles)

Requirements

Key Deliverables:
  • Management and development of IT systems including switches, routers, Wi Fi, firewalls/security systems and monitoring solutions.
  • Devising, implementing and managing projects relating to the above.
  • Defining global standards and policy for network infrastructure and to oversee the global implementation; including any ancillary networks (such as Web and Online infrastructure).
  • To advise and participate in the selection process for hardware, software or other solutions deemed necessary within the global network; including cost analysis and budget considerations.
  • Advising on global security policy for Square Enix West
  • Providing 3rd line support to Infrastructure teams
  • Reviewing and consulting on solutions designs for edge services and Web and Online initiatives.
  • Capacity planning
  • Service continuity planning and improvement
  • Advising on annual budget requirements
  • Compiling and submitting cost analyses for IT projects for approval by ITSC or local budget manager
  • Collaboration with Infrastructure departments at Square Enix Japan (SEJ) and Square Enix America (SEA) to ensure consistency in Infrastructure strategy where possible.
  • Working with SEJ and SEA to manage network interlinks between within the Square Enix group and with approved 3rd parties.

Knowledge & Experience:

Essential:

  • Experience working in a networking role for a medium to large size company.
  • Firewall management: Palo Alto Networks inc. Panorama, SDWAN. Cisco PIX/ASA, CheckPoint or other “enterprise-class” acceptable
  • Cisco routing and switching
  • WLAN
  • Remote access VPN
  • Datacentre management

Desirable:

  • CCNP or equivalent
  • PCNSA
  • Linux (Debian/Ubuntu) iptables, ufw, firewalld, Apache Guacamole
  • Cloud Networking (GCP,AWS)
  • HPE Aruba WLAN and Clearpass Policy Manager
  • GlobalProtect VPN
