The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly commercial B2B Marketing Manager to join our business and play a lead role in developing our B2B function across the UK and US markets. This is a highly visible role within the business which will play a critical part in delivering growth in demand generation, with huge scope for future growth. 

Reporting to the Head of CRM, you will be responsible for leading and building a best-in-class B2B marketing function, expanding our capabilities and delivering short and long-term growth. This role requires an experienced B2B demand generation, CRM marketing and ABM expert who can challenge the status-quo and take this function to the next level. 

You’ll be responsible for planning, setting up, and optimizing targeted ABM campaigns across owned and paid channels, supporting our direct sales strategies with high-performance campaigns and sales sequencing, and to steer value from our events strategy. We are a result orientated business, and this individual will have significant experience of building and delivering against a KPI framework, including revenue-base goals. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Plan out, set-up and manage account-based marketing campaigns, cross-channel campaigns and Go-To-Market playbooks to drive demand, both directly and through stronger brand presence across CV-Library and Resume-Library. 
  • Shape our marketing activities and programs by bringing customer insight to the conversation. Define and articulate customer-led value propositions, positioning, compelling reasons-to-believe that reinforce the tangible benefits and competitive advantages of CV-Library’s products and solutions. 
  • Use your in-depth knowledge of CRM platforms and experience in implementing effective and integrated CRM strategies to drive our business growth objectives. Lead the development and optimisation of our B2B CRM lifecycle strategy, through onboarding, engagement and retention initiatives. 
  • Develop, deliver and optimise automated workflows within the CRM to streamline campaigns and ensure that we are communicating with our prospects and existing customers at the optimal time with the right messaging, creating opportunities for our sales team. 
  • Ensure the function is contributing to the sales pipeline and revenue generation targets by defining, tracking, and reporting on marketing's contribution to pipeline, return on investment, customer acquisition, campaign activity, and results. 
  • Identify target accounts together with Sales leadership to build and segment audiences, ensuring the functions efforts and deliverables are working upwards to our wider business goals. 
  • Manage and drive our existing team and define the future team structure and hiring requirements, with a focus on how we build out capabilities in the US market. 
  • Develop marketing assets around value propositions to ensure CV-Library teams have engaging, robust and well-thought-out narratives and sales enablement materials. Play a part in evolving how we leverage marketing capabilities to bring our products to market more effectively to drive awareness, engagement, and relevance to existing and prospect customers. 
  • Design and execute integrated campaigns to generate new demand; progress cross-and up-sell opportunities with our customer base and increase awareness within our target markets. 
  • Partner with wider business functions on targets, campaigns, lead scoring, follow-up strategies, lead management, and reporting. 
  • Continuously analyse and optimise marketing campaigns to maximise conversion rates at every stage of the customer journey. Conduct A/B testing, monitor key performance indica-tors, and leverage marketing automation tools to enhance conversion. 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with B2B demand generation and ABM. Experience operating a B2B marketing function within international territories, including the U.S. 
  • You’ll have demonstrable and in-depth experience with B2B CRM platforms as well as the leading integrated MarTech. 
  • You will come from a role with strong CRM focus and must have hands-on experience within best-in-class CRMs preferably with Microsoft Dynamics but not essential. 
  • KPI driven, with ability to demonstrate how you have had a significant impact on key results (leads and revenue) within previous businesses. 
  • Data focused with strong analytical skills. Experience analysing data, making data-driven decisions and reporting on performance. 
  • Experienced user of marketing automation tools and sales sequencing technology. 
  • Ability to build email nurture programs, retargeting programs, as well as paid media and re-marketing campaigns. 
  • Experience running campaigns across multiple channels and touchpoints. 
  • Experience in hiring and managing a B2B marketing team. 
  • Ability to define MQLs and SQLs and create structure and framework within the channel. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams. Ability to effectively partner with sales, operations, content writers and designers. 
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritise and manage multiples tasks and projects. 
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change. 
  • Highly driven to achieve business goals and obsessed with solving complex problems.
