Serviceability Lead

This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of one of our offices (Leamington Spa or Bicester), where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

What you will do: 

We require a Serviceability Lead to manage all things service and ownership related across our vehicle programs.  

• Working to drive improvements alongside Engineering, Manufacturing, Parts and many more departments, you will be responsible for reviewing the vehicle programs both virtually and physically. 

• Defining the scope of work and what key repairs/studies we review and feedback on 

• Working with our chosen external supplier to review serviceability studies and manage the feedback of those studies to all relevant departments within Forseven 

• Work towards a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) model in relation to the service and repair processes 

• Create strong working relationships with all key departments to help embed the Serviceability mindset into the company 

• Create, modify and cascade serviceability requirements with the relevant departments 

• Build and present business cases to the company as high as chief engineer level 

Who you are 

• Extensive experience in automotive aftersales with a Global OEM/Automotive industry 

• Experience with Electric Vehicle development 

• Project management experience – Being able to manage multiple projects and meet key feedback gateways using various tools and reporting formats 

• Customer centric focus – Always promoting the voice of the customer in everything you do. Dedication to ensuring positive customer and technician experience 

• Analytical Mindset – Capability to analyze data, identify patterns and develop solutions to improve the product and performance 

• Experience in using CAD software to conduct serviceability reviews / studies 

Nice to have (but not essential): 

• Experience with repairing vehicles in a vehicle retailer (independent or OEM) 

• Experience in vehicle testing and development activities (homologation)  

• Experience in creating special tooling to aid the vehicle repair process 

• Experience in using JIRA and / or OnePlan 

• Experience in using CATIA CAD, human modelling and virtual reality studies 

• Experience in vehicle security (either physical or cyber) through the New Vehicle Security Assessment (NVSA)
