Due to our continued success and growing business demands we currently have a vacancy for a SENIOR CIVIL TECHNICIAN who is looking to develop their career, working on a diverse portfolio of projects throughout the UK. This role will be based at our Head Office in Braintree, offering hybrid working once your induction is complete.

As a SENIOR CIVIL TECHNICIAN, you will be working on a range of civil engineering projects, through all RIBA stages, preparing calculations and technical design information to deliver innovative civil engineering solutions, for both new-build and regeneration projects.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Build and maintain a strong business relationship with clients to achieve long term goals.
  • When advised, deputise duties of Line Manager when absent.
  • Provide preliminary civil engineering schemes for review by Line Manager.
  • Produce detailed technical designs using AutoCAD/Civil 3D/Hydraulic Modelling.
  • Review more detailed technical submissions and RFIs from sub-contractors.
  • Organise and submit technical documentation and drawings for final delivery.

Requirements

  • A relevant degree/apprenticeship and minimum of 5 years working experience
  • Progression to undertake corporate membership towards ICE.
