Exciting Opportunity for Support Staff at Bitterne Park School!

We are pleased to announce an internal vacancy for the position of CPD Lead for Support Staff. This role is essential in fostering the professional development of our dedicated support staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles.

As the CPD Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing a comprehensive Continuous Professional Development (CPD) program specifically tailored for our support staff.
  • Managing and leading the apprentichip levy process for support staff.
  • Conducting needs assessments to identify training requirements and opportunities for skill enhancement.
  • Delivering / designing and managing engaging workshops and training sessions that promote best practices in support roles.
  • Leading on support staff inset day training.
  • Collaborating with teaching staff and leadership to align support staff training with school goals and priorities.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of CPD initiatives, collecting feedback, and making necessary adjustments for improvement.
  • Encouraging a culture of continuous learning and professional growth among support staff.
  • Staying current with educational best practices and trends in support roles.

Please note this position will be treated similarly to that of a TLR and will attract an annual payment of up to £3,250 per annum.
