Pixel Power is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rohde & Schwarz, a large German technology company. To further build success in its B2B media business, specialising in master control playout automation, graphics, multiviewing and monitoring solutions, Pixel Power is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to develop and implement marketing strategies to promote its products and services to customers.

The roles reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing and is based in Cambridge, UK.

The role requires to travel globally when necessary (travel estimated at < 10% of working time).

Main tasks and objectives
  • Strategizing and contributing to the long-term marketing plans
  • Raising awareness of the company’s products and services globally
  • Liaising with sales, product management and services teams to develop and produce marketing content for digital and print media
  • Collaborating with central marketing on guidelines and shared activities e.g. trade shows
  • Working with and contributing to the selection of external service providers (e.g. PR companies, Web site developers)
  • Developing the brand’s voice, thought leadership and identity through targeting messaging and marketing campaigns
  • Writing, editing and publishing marketing adverts, articles and other written content for social media, email, web and print
  • Producing marketing videos for social media and web
  • Monitoring key performance indicators to track the success of a marketing campaign
  • Reporting results of marketing campaigns to management teams
  • Managing the customer contact database including responsibility for GDPR compliance
  • Organising attendance at trade shows and other industry events world-wide

Requirements

  • A minimum of three years’ experience of B2B marketing in the media industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of content management systems, for example WordPress
  • Experience of e-mail distribution and marketing automation tools
  • Knowledge of B2B social media platforms, e.g. LinkedIn
  • Ability to develop an annual marketing plan and implement it with quantitative measurements of success
  • Understanding of how to generate and analyse reports using software such as Google Analytics
  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g. business, economics, marketing)
