Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced colleague who has a passion for people experience and creating a Great Place to Work! Working closely with the HR Advisor and HR Manager you will have the skills to deliver the following:

  • Manage the entire onboarding process for new starters, ensuring a seamless and first-class experience from start to finish. Take ownership conducting referencing checks, issuing contracts, and supporting the development of personalised induction plans.  Ensure that each new joiner is fully supported and set up for success, delivering a positive and professional onboarding experience at every stage.
  • Take ownership of our Inspire HRIS system, becoming the designated super user to ensure all employee records are accurately maintained and updated. Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance by recording key information. Proactively support the system’s optimisation by identifying ways to enhance its functionality and improve efficiency across HR operations.
  • Play a central role in the rollout of the company's new performance management system by becoming the key user within the People Services team. As the system's super user, take ownership of coordinating performance appraisals and ensuring the platform is effectively integrated into business-as-usual operations. Support with training employees and line managers, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with the HR Advisor and HR Manager to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Prepare and review monthly payroll modifications to ensure all relevant employee data is accurately captured, including salary adjustments, allowances (such as graduate clothing allowances), deductions for unpaid leave or sickness, and any increases following performance appraisals. Ensure comprehensive and accurate processing of payroll-related changes for each pay period.
  • Manage and oversee employee benefits administration by ensuring that all benefits offerings, such as gym memberships, private medical insurance, and annual leave policies, are current and communicated effectively to employees. Provide guidance on available benefits and the enrolment process and take responsibility for enrolling employees in selected programs.
  • Support in coordinating employee training and development programmes by ensuring all employees are scheduled in InformedACADEMY© for the appropriate training courses. Manage training records within InformedACADEMY©, track participation, and ensure that feedback forms are completed after each session. Take responsibility for processing employee training requests, ensuring that training forms are filled out accurately and submitted on time.
  • Oversee the employee offboarding process, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition for leavers. Take responsibility for managing all aspects of the leaver process, including processing final paperwork, coordinating exit procedures, and ensuring the return of company property.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will be able to evidence of a minimum of two years recent HR Generalist experience working in a fast-paced HR Team, ideally within a professional services environment.  Ideally, you will be CIPD Associate Level 3 qualified or working towards this accreditation and have the relevant experience to hit the ground running in a growing business.
