Our growing and dynamic agency is now looking for an Associate Creative Director to join our Digital team, where they will lead digital campaign executions for global projects. They will play a key role in applying BMF's standards of creative excellence to every project, delivering innovative content to our international clients across all channels.

As an Associate Creative Director at BMF, you will lead the development of digital and social content for global projects. This client-facing role focuses on driving creative development and content production for a diverse range of digital campaigns across our international client base. We seek an experienced creative leader with outstanding collaboration skills, who is passionate about creating high-impact multimedia content that sparks meaningful social conversations.

Responsibilities:

Creative development

  • Collaborate with members of the Digital Creative team, including all staff and freelancers, from copywriters to designers to producers
  • Lead the ideation and execution of innovative digital campaigns for global projects, under the guidance of the Creative Director, Digital
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of always-on social campaigns by identifying and leveraging clients' milestone events, curating images, and providing design direction as needed
  • Support our in-house Strategy team by ideating campaign wrappers, outlining repeatable formats, and illustrating different content executions as-needed 
  • Contribute to the development of brand and social media playbooks 
  • Demonstrate a social-first mindset, keeping trends, best-practices, and strategic content pillars top-of-mind 



Production 

  • Provide vendor recommendations on a project-by-project basis 
  • Craft and implement digital art direction on high-impact accounts 
  • Guide the production of global content shoots, ensuring that talent, vendors, and locations are secured in a timely manner, within budget
  • Oversee global content shoots on-set as needed
  • Drive storyboard development and oversee the post-production of global video content, with an eye towards cultural nuances and language translations
  • Oversee the post-production of static and UCG assets as-needed



Agency stewardship 

  • Contribute to agency-wide brainstorms and RFP responses
  • Uphold BMF’s standards for creative excellence throughout every campaign you touch, with support and oversight from the Creative Director, Digital 
  • Consistently update internal stakeholders on project status, ensuring transparency and demonstrating strong agency stewardship at all times 

The salary range for this role is $75,000 GDP and is based on experience, responsibilities of the position, subject matter expertise and is location specific.

Requirements

You must have:

  • 5+ years of experience working in a fast-paced agency setting as a digital-first creative
  • Experience in end-to-end still/video production
  • Experience directing digital and creator-led content shoots
  • Experience in the luxury/hospitality space is preferred 
  • Proven track record of developing high-impact, multimedia digital creative that drives scaled social conversation
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts in a strong and compelling way
  • Must possess a clear creative point-of-view, high taste level, and strong creative references 
  • Must be well-informed when it comes to social trends and best-practices 
  • Ability to flex between high-level strategic thinking and art direction implementation
  • Proven track record of delivering innovative work while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency
  • An empathetic, patient approach to management as well as a roll-up-your-sleeves, solution-oriented, get-it-done attitude
  • Mac Proficient – including expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, Excel, Google Docs, and Outlook
