About the role:

We are seeking a skilled End User Computing Engineer to support the delivery and enhancement of EUC services across our client base .

The ideal candidate will bring solid helpdesk experience, a strong understanding of OS build and deployment processes, and an interest in exploring new EUC technologies. Experience working in asset-based industries is advantageous, as this role involves providing tailored EUC solutions to business-critical environments. 

Here’s what the role looks like:

EUC Solutions Exploration: Keep up to date with emerging EUC technologies, with a focus on identifying and recommending new tools or processes that can improve productivity and operational efficiency. 

OS Build and Deployment: Manage the end-to-end process of operating system builds and deployments, ensuring smooth and efficient rollouts across the estate. 

Hardware & Software Support: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to EUC hardware (e.g., laptops, desktops, peripherals) and software applications. 

Travel to Client Sites: Visit client sites as necessary to provide hands-on EUC support or manage specific on-site projects. 

Project Collaboration: Work with internal teams and external vendors to deliver EUC solutions that meet business needs and adhere to industry best practices. 

Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all EUC solutions, deployments, and processes. 

Requirements

Here are the key skills and experience relevant to this role:

Helpdesk Experience: Solid background in helpdesk support, with a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve Level 2/3 EUC issues. 

OS Deployment: Strong experience in operating system build processes, image creation, and deployment across various devices. 

Technology Exploration: A passion for exploring and adopting new EUC technologies that can drive efficiency improvements. 

O&G/Asset-Based Business: Experience supporting users and systems in the oil & gas or asset-based industries is highly desirable. 

Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel to multiple sites as needed.
