General Technician

Salary circa 26,000 pa
Monday - Friday - 39 hours
Good package:
25 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holidays, Pension, Private Healthcare plus additional benefits.
My client is a world leading manufacturer and are well respected in the industry.
They are looking for a General Technician to assist the team in the manufacture of their manufacturing systems and accessories to a high standard and to relevant specifications.
This would suit someone from a mechanical /technical background who can read diagrams, use hand and power tools and has machine operating experience.
Duties include:
- Assembling manufacturing systems as per technical instructions
- To work with team in ensuring new component and manufacturing techniques are used
- Working with power and hand tools, jigsaws, drills (essential experience preferred) and CNC carving or vacuum forming or powder coating experience would be an advantage but not essential.
- To be an active,contributing member of the production team with good communication skills.
Full training will be given but must have hand and power tool experience..
