Radis Community Care has an exciting opportunity for a Complex Care Worker to join our team based in GL52, near Presrbury on the outskirts of Cheltenham

We care for a range of service users including the elderly and for people with physical and/or learning disabilities. Tailored to meet our service user’s individual needs, our care ranges from brief daily visits to 24-hour live-in care and can either be short or long-term.

About the role

As a Complex Care Worker, you will provide high quality care to service users living independently in their own homes, that is flexible and responsive to their needs. The role will involve caring for and supporting individuals with complex care health needs. This can include tracheostomy care, gastrostomy care, non-invasive ventilation and other specified health needs.

Skills and Qualifications required for the role

6 months care experience is required.  Full specialist training will be given for the role. The successful person will be caring, sociable and have the willingness to learn in line with the client’s need. The successful person will have good written and verbal English communication.

We’re particularly interested to hear from people whom have experience in the following:

· Gastrostomy Care

· PEG Feeding

· Nasogastric Feeding

· Tracheostomy Care

· Oxygen Administration

· BiPAP/CPAP/NiPPY/Cough Assist

· Suction

· Stoma Care

Shifts available:- 10pm- 7am,  and alternate weekends
