More about your role

As one of our Portfolio Managers you will have overall responsibility for the management of a portfolio of properties.  Working in partnership with our clients you will create the strategy the rest of the team will implement, keeping an open dialogue with the client to ensure these needs are met.

You will review the performance of the portfolio, setting objectives and targets with the team to achieve maximum performance. The focus of these targets relate to maximising occupancy, the collection of rent, minimising void periods ,controlling expenditure and meeting compliance requirements.

As part of your role you will prepare and present high quality reports with good analysis of operational and financial data, making a keen eye for detail essential.  You will be the point of contact for new enquires from landlords who may be looking to let their property and will be responsible for their onboarding and marketing needs.

This role has been evaluated to suit a 'hybrid' working pattern for a trial period whereby there will be the opportunity to work from home for some days each week if preferred

 

More about you

This role will see you responsible for a large portfolio of private rented residential property across the UK.  You will have experience within a property management role, ideally in a volume environment. It would be preferred that the successful candidates holds a lettings or residential management qualification, such as an NFOPP, IRPM or MARLA.  Either way, you will have a good general understanding of tenancy legislation.  A good understand of the retirement rentals market would be advantageous. 

This is a client-facing role, so both client management experience and the ability to build strong working relationships are essential. The successful candidate will have the ability to remain calm in potentially difficult or sensitive situations, both in person or on the phone.  A track record of managing people and delivering performance is also a requirement of this role. As you will support a national portfolio there will be a requirement to travel at times.  A keen attention to detail is essential for this role.
