RMN - Mental Health Nurse

We are looking to hire a Nurse (RMN) to work at our Glenhurst Lodge Mental Health Hospital. (CQC Rating: Good).

Glenhurst Lodge is a twenty two bedded mental health high dependency rehabilitation service for men and women.

The aim of this role is to look after the physical, psychological and social needs of our residents to help us deliver the quality care they deserve

The position is based in Maidstone, and can be either full time or part time.

Key duties of the Mental Health Nurse Role Include:

• Assist in the development and delivery of care plans
• Work as a primary nurse for a group of service users as required by the Ward Manager
• Participate in clinical meetings as required and report areas of concern to the Manager
• Support our service users with every day activities
• Play a significant role in assisting and encouraging service users to engage in therapeutic activities and organised events designed to help them increase their skills and

About you, the successful Mental Health Nurse

• Current First Level Registration on the appropriate part of the register held by the N.M.C
• Flexible approach to working hours
• Good written and verbal communication skills
