Support Worker
Waking Nights

Hourly rate - £10.45 per hour
Hours - 10pm until 7am, up to 36 hours per week

Discovery are looking for passionate Support Workers to join our Waking Night team at Apple Tree Court in Street, where 7 women and 6 men live and are supported to live rich, fulfilled lives.

As a Waking Night Support Worker your role will be to help ensure the people we support have a safe and restful night, and that Apple Tree Court is prepared for another day of achieving better lives for more people.

This is a varied role, where you’ll start your shift by supporting with bedtime routines, providing emotional care and responding to pagers, and when morning comes you’ll be involved in assisting the people we support with starting their days.

Additionally throughout the night you’ll check in on the people we support to ensure they are happy and safe. When the people we support are resting you’ll also undertake some tasks to help ensure the service is ready for the next day, including housekeeping duties such as laundry and cleaning.

Our typical waking night shifts are from 10pm until 7am.
