You will be providing personal care and support to our guests through a variety of tasks. Your care will make a real difference to peoples lives and we are looking for individuals who have the ability, skills and passion to assist vulnerable people and take pride in their work. You will be supported by our dedicated lead carers and home management team. No previous experience is necessary as full training will be provided.

Who we are looking for

You will need the following skills and qualities:

  • Level 2 Qualification in Health and Social care or a willingness to work towards this within 12 months of being in post.
  • Have a strong interest in working in Adult care services and desire to make a difference.
  • Be enthusiastic, caring, friendly and compassionate.
  • A driving licence and willingness to drive company vehicles is desirable.

Strode Park Foundation has been caring since 1946, providing vital care, support services, care at home, supported living opportunities and day and leisure services for children and adults with a range of disabilities.

Platters Farm Lodge is a purpose-built residential care home and day centre based in Rainham, Kent. We offer high-quality respite, rehabilitation, dementia and day-care services, set in spacious, well-maintained grounds.
